This is a basic scone recipe.

350 g flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
86 g butter
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup cream or 175 ml milk
2 tsp baking soda
egg to glaze

Mix flour, salt and sugar. Add butter, then baking powder and baking soda. Then combine with milk or cream. Then form the dough into a ball and glaze with egg. In a pre-heated oven, 200 degrees for 10 mins.

Raisins, chopped fruits, or nuts could be added, too.
Sugar could be sprinkled, too.
