This is my husband's favorite --
Tomato Salad with Sausage and Eggs. You could find the dish being offered fresh in almost all of the meat shops in Germany; but my husband loves the
homemade edition -- his own version.
And his version meant more tomatoes than sausage, not too heavy for dinner.
Ingredients:
chopped or strips of sausage
chopped tomatoes
chopped boiled egg
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients well.

We usually serve this with bread and french fries for the kids.
