Here are a few samples of the dozens of birthday gift certificates that came by mail, not to mention the one clogging our inboxes. Oh, I dont find them annoying at all. In fact, the discounts are welcomed. Ten euro, five euro plus more shopper's points. Why not?
What's crazy is that most of them arrived, right after I've already shopped at these shops or after I have already ordered online. What are they trying to tell me? Shop later or shop more, huh?
A fool that I am, I keep them. Just in case. When would I learn? Most of these certificates would be expiring a month, or worse, a week after my birthdate, after all. Enough said. I must concentrate on my shopping list :-)
